Houston Bush Intercontinental – B Gates (IAH)

In one of the busiest exit lanes in the country (B-Gates) this 7’ wide exit handles an average of 35,000 deplaning passengers daily and up to 80,000 passengers during the Christmas holidays and Superbowl.

Purchased through TEXMAS state procurement contract, a three-layer, non-sequenced portal system was designed and built from the ground up through a team effort with IAH, CheckVideo, Tyco Integrated Security, Transportation Technology Associates, and local vendor/contractors.

Passengers flow seamlessly through the exit portal with little to no congestion, and the system is monitored and controlled at both the TSA manager’s station in the SCCP and at IAH Airport’s Communications Center.
